The Gunnr Odin 1-10x FFP LPVO rifle scope looks great on paper but how does it do in real life? Is it accurate? Can it handle the abuse of recoil, impacts, dirt and water while staying true and intact? Today we're testing all of that courtesy of our friends at Gunnr Optics. Overall the Gunnr Odin 1-10x FFP LPVO was a great optic that survived our torture test and only has a few downsides mentionable.

Unsuck your cheap AR-15 with these Two Easy Upgrades!
Просмотров 31728 дней назад
Did you buy a cheap AR-15 and are not happy with how it performs? Is it you or the rifle? Maybe you have an expensive AR-15 and it still came with a heavy, long mil-spec trigger? Today I'm sharing how I took a Palmetto State Armory AR-15 blem with a crappy barrel and changed it into a lightweight tack driver with two easy upgrades, a new Faxon barrel and Geissele SSA-E two stage trigger.

Looking for a Benelli M4 but don't want to drop nearly $2,000 on one? Enter the the "Turknelli", Panzer M4 Speed, that is literally the Benelli M4 we have at home! For under $600 you get a Benelli M4 clone but how well does it actually operate for a quarter of the price? In this video I tested it with low power birdshot, 00 buckshot, and slugs and the Panzer M4 Speed handled it all with no prob...
9mm vs 10mm Is there really that much difference?
Просмотров 7 тыс.Месяц назад
9mm vs 10mm is only 1mm so is there really that much difference between the two? On paper yes, the 10mm auto is wildly more powerful than the 9mm but how does that play out in real life. Today we pit them against each other in wood, concrete, steel, and soda can tests as well as seeing their effects on a soft target shielded by level 3 body armor. Can the raw power of the 10mm overcome the less...

10mm vs 45ACP, a battle of the "real man's caliber" vs an American classic for the king of pistol rounds. Our test today is a Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 10mm vs a Rock Island 1911 45 ACP. We'll see how they compare in wood, steel, soda can, and water jug targets and crown a winner at the end! Is 10mm better than 45 ACP?
Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 10mm Hand Cannon!
Просмотров 4642 месяца назад
All the cool kids shoot 10mm and now I do too! Today we're looking over the Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 10mm 4.6 in barrel and it's a hand cannon. The M&P series is sharp, very functional, and packed with features but the 10mm cartridge is the real star. With 50% or more of the power of an average 5.56, it's the perfect large bore sidearm.
9mm pistol barrel length doesn't really matter......much
Просмотров 7043 месяца назад
Does 9mm pistol barrel length really matter for bullet speed and energy? Is a 9mm 4 inch barrel really that much better than a 3 inch barrel and is a 9mm PCC with a 16 inch barrel 5x better than those? Today we find out in a real life test of 9mm in a Sig P365, PSA Dagger, and Keltec Sub 2000.

The 40 Smith and Wesson edged out the 45 ACP last week but what about the 45's older brother, the 9mm? Today the 40 S&W will take on the 9mm in wood, steel, and through soft drink cans to find out if the 40 caliber is really the king of the heap!

5.56 vs 458 SOCOM : Wood, Concrete, and Steel Penetration Test!
Forty is the best of both worlds, has velocity of the nine with a punch of a forty five. Nine is just the global round but with ppl with small hands and wrists the forty might have a slight kick but its better than nine for many reasons.
People will argue just to argue, Shot Placement Gets You Home
1:17 subsonic demo
A lot of people who cant listen commenting lmao. You mention right away its a hybrid suppressor and there are a ton of people asking why you would want to run subs on a 5.56 like that suppressor can't just go an basically anything else you have too.
.45ACP is not designed to penetrate.
Still sounds like a gunshot.. Not much silence.
Damn so someone can really get hit with this in public and nobody would know. Scary stuff
Either way you go it all looks like fun. Different cartridges for different individual capabilities. We don't all wear the same size shoes.
My dog just left a silent fart and it is sinister
definitely the ammo
Defective barrel, warrantied
4" barrel v. 5" barrel.
And the 40 still won.
I still run a 12 2 seater. Suspension is all that’s done. Still super fun
Yea, I mean anyone with an intermediate to expert knowledge about 5.56 ammo knows that the 62 grain green tip is going to penetrate deeper than the 55 grain fmj no matter what you are shooting at. If your results differ than you are not representing the round descriptions accurately.
Well, that’s a great way to warm up a starter motor!
Great fun video, however, would like to have seen the same length barrels on both handguns. Had a .45 with "Property of United States" stamped on it, loved it. While a LEO, have carred .357 mag., .40 S&W, and .357 SIG. Love them all.
40 S&W very loud repour. Really bad. I still like my RUGER P 98 45acp.
I wasn't particularly interested in the 9mm Me-Too so did my research on 40 and 45. I liked the lower pressure of the 45 but the gun I wanted cost 40% more in 45. I figured that if I was going to put up with the high pressure blast I might as well get a good size bullet in the bargain. Given that it is the ballistic twin of the well respected 150+ year old 38 WCF I felt pretty safe. Media testing videos on YT seemed to confirm that the 40 was a consistent performer and pretty forgiving. Turns out the recoil is no worse than my 38 snubbie. I like it so far.
This why I carry a 10mm
Theres no 10mm load with 1000ft lbs im aware of. Thats high end 44mag territory.
RBCD makes a 77gr 10mm rated at 2420fps for 1001ft/lbs.
For those of us that live on a rock, why does shouldering it make a difference?
The atf used to have an ambiguous rules that shouldering a pistol brace made it a short barrel rifle and thus a felony is born. That has since been rescinded.
@ thank you. I want to get one what's why I watched your vid. 300 blackout vs 223/556? Pros cons?
It looks like 40 s&w beat 45 in every test... S and w is now for super and wow
The 45 does have some advantages that don't show up in this test. It's subsonic in its base form so it's cheap if you want to run a suppressor and it has a much less snappy recoil but terminally the 40 is better overall.
Shipped to your door?
Apples to Apples would be the same barrel length.
Thanks for informative video. Nothing left out.
One question how far are you shooting from ?
Good video young man!! I have owned and shot guns since i was 6 years old now 70 years old arthritic hands n such but had a ar15 5.56 and 9mm conceal carry till i realised after 3 rounds of 9mm damn near dropped my gun I've now went to the Ruger sr22 pistol conceal carry and the mp 15-22 with the red /green dot on it and i have a blast an can actually hit things right where i want. Love this gun. I love shootin my lever action guns also but the 15-22 is probably my favourite to shoot. Thanks for sharing be safe have fun
round tips are nice. but people carry hollow points G9 rounds would be the best as they do not clog from fabric
Paul Harrell's testing confirmed that the .40 beats the 9mm and at the least matches the performance of the .45 acp, check it out. The .40 is a great compromise, it's in a 9mm sized gun and only generally loses 2 rounds of capacity in a mid to full size pistol. 13+1 or 15+1, that's plenty of capacity and if you've burned through that many rounds a 15+1 or 17+1 capacity of the less powerful 9mm wouldn't have saved you. Carry a spare mag(s) if you want significantly more ammo. The .45 acp loses a further 2-3 rounds vs the .40 in a comparable model and the grip is noticeably fatter to accommodate the slightly longer and fatter cartridge. I like the 9mm for micro pistols like the shield plus, G43X or P-365 and because it's cheap to shoot, but it truly should be the minimum caliber for self defense unless you need a tiny pocket gun.
Do you think this will cycle in a Ak?
Great review/torture test video brother. However, I’m curious how this pistol would perform using American made brass cased fmj ball ammo. The steel cases ammo you used for this test is underpowered & is notoriously inconsistent w/ velocity & powder charge in comparison to American ammunition. Also, unlike brass cases ammo which will expand & contract after firing, the steel cased ammo will not. The steel cased ammo will expand & fire form to the chamber walls but does not contract to the extent brass cased ammo does. This makes the extractor have to work much harder to pull the case out of the chamber & bcuz the extractor is made of steel & its buying into the steel rim of the case, it will induce wear & breakage of the extractor much much faster than if the steel extractor was biting into the softer brass as Mr. Browning intended. I just think the steel cases you use are handicapping the performance of the pistol. I guess an argument could be made that using the steel cases ammo makes the test that much harder to pass but any one who knows 1911’s knows using steel cased ammo is begging for trouble. It’s the same with the AR-15 family of firearms as well. Steel cased is fine to use in something like the AK 47 bcuz of the loose tolerances but for the most part American designed firearms have tighter tolerances which compliments the use of brass cased ammunition. Just my 2 cents.
"yeah s&w we can make it sidefold too"
HEY, JUST CAME ACROSS YOUR VIDEO HERE, WATCHED IT, AND WANTED TO SAY A FEW THINGS. NOT TO CRITICIZE YOU IN ANY WAY, JUST WANTED TO REMIND YOU OR POINT OUT WHAT MANY OF US ALREADY KNOW ( BUT BECAUSE THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS ARE STILL SO POPULAR AND THE DEBATE IS STILL A DEBATE ABOUT CALIBERS ) NEED TO BE REMINDED AGAIN OF...... I DONT THINK ANY REASONABLE, EXPERIENCED, OR EDUCATED PERSON WOULD DISAGREE THAT THEEEEEEE MOST IMPORTAT ISSUE CONCERNING ANY CALIBER? IS AND SHOULD BE, THE SHOOTERS ABILITY TO MAKE SHOT PLACEMENT CONSISTENTLY! HOLDING, CONTROLLING, AND USING A PARTICULAR GUN, AND CALIBER THAT HAS LITTLE TO NO RECOIL ISSUES. ( COMPACT OR SMALLER HANDGUNS ARE ALWAYS GOING TO HAVE SOME RECOIL ISSUES BECAUSE YOU ARE USING A SMALL PIPELINE TO CONTROL AND EXTRACT A COMBUSTIONAL FORCE. THE BIGGER THE CALIBER? THE MORE POWER, THE MORE COMBUSTION ) SO MID SIZE SHOULD ALWAYS BE A CHOICE SIZE . GLOCK MAKES THE 43x IN 9mm WHICH IS AN EXCELLENT CLOSE TO COMPACT, BACK UP GUN. ITS A LITTLE BIGGER THAN A COMPACT, BUT SMALLER THAN A MID SIZE AND BECAUSE IT HAS A LONGER GRIP ON IT? ITS MORE CONTROLLABLE THAN THE REAL COMPACTS. SO THAT IS THE REMINDER HERE! CONSISTENT SHOT PLACEMENT.. THAT SHOULD BE EVERYONES PRIORITY IN CARRYING A HANDGUN. YES WE CAN PRACTICE NIGHT AND DAY CONTROLLING RECOIL AND POWERFUL ROUNDS LIKE THE 40, 10mm, 44 mag, ETC. BUT! WHY TAKE YOUR CHANCES IF YOU ARE EVER IN A REAL LIFE THREATENING SITUATION? I DONT RECOMMEND THAT AT ALL ( IT IS ALWAYS BETTER TO BE SAFE THAN SORRY ) HAVING SAID THAT, THE NEXT ISSUE IS POWER TO SOME DEGREE. A 22 WILL TAKE ANYONE OUT IF THE SHOT IS PLACED RIGHT. BUT, AGAIN, WE CAN NEVER KNOW WHAT THE SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCES ARE GOING TO BE IF THERE IS EVER A REAL LIFE THREATENING SITUATION, AND BECAUSE OF THAT I THINK WE SHOULD SOME POWER WITH US ALL THE TIME TOO! CONTROLLABLE POWER. THE 45 acp, THE 357 sig ( for semi automatic handguns ) ARE IN MY VIEW THE BEST CHOICES ( REVOLVERS ARE GREAT TOO, BUT!!!!! YOU HAVE A LIMITED CAPACITY, AND AGAIN, WE DONT KNOW WHAT KIND OF SITUATION OR CIRCUMSTANCES WE WILL BE FACING IN THE MOMENT WE MAY FIND OURSELVES IN A REAL LIFE THREATENING SITUATION! FOR EXAMPLE? LETS SAY WE ARE ON A WALK? OR EVEN WALKING FROM OUR VEHICLES TO A STORE OR PARK, ETC? AND A VAN OR OTHER TYPE OF VEHICLE SUDDENLY SPEEDS RIGHT UP TO YOU AND ANY NUMBER OF THINGS HAPPEN!??? : / A 22 IS NOT GOING TO HELP YOU! A 38 IS NOT GOING TO HELP YOU ( maybe with a miracle head shot, if there is a split second opening for one ) A 9mm IS NOT GOING TO HELP YOU MUCH EITHER, BECAUSE IF THE PEOPLE IN THE VEHICLE KNOW EVEN A LITTLE ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE DOING? AND UNLESS ITS A DRIVE BY ( BUT EVEN WITH A DRIVE BY? A 9mm IS NOT GOING TO DO ANY REAL DAMAGE TO A VEHICLE OR EVEN THE WINDOWS, UNLESS IT STOPS AND YOU HAVE THE CHANCE TO SHOOT MULTIPLE TIMES AT IT? BUT THEN IF THERE ARE SEVERAL PEOPLE SHOOTING AT YOU? AGAIN, THE 9mm IS NOT GOING TO BE OF MUCH HELP! IT WONT PENETRATE THE VEHICLE ENOUGH TO CAUSE ANY POSSIBLE DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE OR THE PEOPLE INSIDE. BUT, A 45 ACP, A 357 SIG ( WITH CONTROLLABLE RECOIL AND POWER ) WILL GIVE YOU ENOUGH POWER TO MAKE THOSE PEOPLE INSIDE THE VEHICLE RE THINK THEIR PLANS! THESE ARE POWERFUL AND DESTRUCTIVE CALIBERS WITH PROPER SHOT PLACEMENTS. 40 IS OBVIOUSLY MORE "POWERFUL" THAN THE 45 ACP. BUT! ITS A SMALL BULLET, WHICH MEANS SMALL WOUND CAVITY. ITS MORE PUNCHIER BUT ONLY WITH ITS SPEED! ITS GOT NO REAL PUNCH ( WEIGHT ) BEHIND IT! THE ENERGY IS FASTER, LIKE A QUICK SHARP SMACK IN THE FACE! BUT THE 45 ACP IS LIKE A CLOSED FIST PUNCH IN THE FACE! A LITTLE SLOWER, BUT MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE. YES, YOU CAN FIRE SEVERAL ROUNDS OF THE 40 AND IT WILL DO SEVERE DAMAGE. BUT YOU WONT NEED TO FIRE MANY 45 ACP OR 357 SIG SHOTS TO DO SEVERE DAMAGE! AND THAT IS THE SECOND MOST IMPORTANT CONCERN, OR I BELIEVE SHOULD BE THE CONCERN FOR A SELF DEFENSE HANDGUN ROUND! CONTROL, POWER AND CONSISTENT SHOT PLACEMENT! ALSO THE TYPE OF HANDGUN YOU CHOOSE WILL ALSO EFFECT THESE ABILITIES.. THE GLOCK DESIGN ON ALL OF ITS GUNS, ARE MADE TO MITIGATE RECOIL, AND GIVE THE SHOOTER CONSISTENT, CONTROLLABLE, SHOTS, EVERY TIME, NO MATTER WHAT ( PROVIDING THE SHOOTERS GRIP AND EYE SIGHT IS CORRECT ) OK, WELL, I THINK I HAVE SAID ENOUGH HERE. I WAS JUST TRYING TO BE OF SOME HELP AND KEEP THE PERSPECTIVE ON THIS SUBJECT MATTER! SELF DEFENSE SHOULD BE THE FOCUS.. FOR ANY REAL POWER? EVERYONE SHOULD LOOK INTO GETTING A RIFLE! THIS IS WHY SOLDERS IN ALL MILITARY'S, HAVE A HAND GUN, ( FOR UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL AND BACK UP SITUATIONS ) AND THE RIFLE AS THEIR MAIN WEAPON! THEY ARE MUUUUUUUUCH MORE POWERFUL, MUUUUCH MORE CONTROLLABLE, MUUUUUCH MORE CAPACITY, AND MUUUCCCH MORE USABLE FOR MOST ANY SELF DEFENSIVE SITUATIONS, CIRCUMSTANCES AND ENVIOREMENTS.....
Zack was wrong.
This is level 3 and not 3 + correct?
10mm then 45 never a 40.
RUGER SR 40 15 rounds magazine and up graded to my hand and taste
Love 45 but my 40 is faster and just as heavy but I can carry 15 rounds where the 45 only 8 or 9 rounds
Why is the subsonic ammo generally more expensive?

The last 9mm soda can had only one hole in it and no bullet because the bullet veered sideways and only grazed that can. The .40 went straight through all cans because of its flat meplat, which facilitates straight-line penetration. The round nose of the 9mm bullet caused it to veer off coarse. The soda can test isn't valid and means nothing.
Moot point
Looks like you have a lot of fun! Nice simple test👍👍
I have mine all the way off
Science: 1 shot from each caliber is irrelevant.
Look up total length of 300 WHISPER and the total length of 300 blackout. The lengths are different becaise of where the bullets are seated to, and some companies load their 300 black like they were loading 300 whisper and then it causes feeding issues. So you can check bullet lengths 5.56 vs 300 black, they use the same case bases, so if they are the same length as a 5.56 it should work in a 5.56 mag reliably
